2014年1月9日，三菱材料株式會社四日市工廠發生爆炸。這起事故造成5人死亡和12人受傷。三菱材料株式會社（MMC）是一個長期和贏創合作的很好貿易伙伴。這起事故我們深感悲痛。為遇難者家屬的悲痛，并祝愿傷者早日康復。三菱材料株式會社（MMC）主要向贏創提供四氯化硅原料生產AEROSIL®氣相法二氧化硅。
In this unfortunate incident, it is still our task to report that there is no injury to employees or damage to Nippon Aerosil Company's plant. Consequently, from today’s perspective we do not foresee supply problems with AEROSIL® grades. In case the material loop with MMC stops, our site can continue to operate.
